As the Solution Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in selling and delivering Accertify’s industry-leading Interceptas fraud prevention platform. You’ll partner with global brands to design and demonstrate innovative fraud solutions that protect digital commerce in real time. From pre-sales discovery and technical consultation, you’ll bridge the gap between client needs and technical execution. This high-impact, client-facing role combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building to drive value, solve complex problems, and consistently exceed expectations throughout the customer journey.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Value Solutioning: Proactively engage with prospective customers to deeply understand their business goals, technical requirements, pain points, and strategic initiatives.
  • Product Positioning & Demonstration: Architect and deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations and presentations that effectively showcase the unique value proposition of our [products/solutions] and address specific customer needs.
  • Technical Expertise & Discovery: Act as a subject matter expert on our [products/solutions], conducting in-depth technical discovery sessions and whiteboarding to uncover key challenges and opportunities.
  • Proof of Concept (POC) & Pilot Management: Design, execute, and manage successful Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot programs, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and clear success criteria.
  • RFP/RFI Response: Lead or contribute significantly to the technical and solution-oriented aspects of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Executives to develop account strategies, identify competitive differentiators, and accelerate sales cycles. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback, influence product roadmap, and ensure seamless customer onboarding.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to refine solutioning approaches and continuously maintain a competitive edge.
  • Enablement: Contribute to developing sales enablement materials, including solution briefs, competitive battlecards, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven exposure to fraud risk strategies and/or deep knowledge of the digital payment ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred), 4+ years of technical sales support.
  • Outstanding discovery, requirement-gathering, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, clients love working with you.
  • Experience with SaaS and API integrations, particularly within fraud prevention, payments, or data-driven platforms.
  • A consultative approach to understanding use cases and aligning Accertify product offerings, including understanding the customer ecosystem and team dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate with client’s staff at multiple levels, including Finance, Operations, Networking, Software Integration, Project Management, and business-level needs.
Additional Details: 
  • Potential salary range: $120,000 to $175,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • This role is eligible for remote US-based (work-from-home) locations. Chicago-based candidates would work in a hybrid capacity from Accertify's headquarters in Itasca, IL.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
  • The role requires travel to customer on-sites, industry conferences, and internal meetings (Chicago, IL area) (30%)
