The Team Manager is responsible for leading, mentoring, and driving exceptional performance across a team of Fraud Analysts and Team Leaders. Working closely with Strategic Risk Services Managers, the role ensures a deep understanding of Accertify’s customers and optimal utilization Accertify's platform to deliver comprehensive fraud prevention strategies and client success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Development
    • Lead and develop a team of 15-30 Fraud Analysts and Team Leaders, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and high performance.
    • Implement structured coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans to meet and exceed performance standards.
    • Develop and execute training programs to build core competencies across the team.
  • Fraud Strategy & Analysis
    • Leverage deep knowledge of the Interceptas platform to teach and ensure optimal fraud analysis.
    • Collaborate with Strategic Risk Services Managers to deploy effective fraud prevention strategies, policies, and controls.
    • Monitor customer fraud models, recommend updates, and provide actionable insights to the Strategic Risk Services Manager.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain a strong QA program to ensure accuracy and consistency within fraud analyst teams.
    • Support Strategic Risk Managers by preparing and analyzing KPI reports on team performance.
    • Act as Level 1 support for Strategic Risk Services customers and fraud analyst teams.
    • Oversee the implementation process for new Strategic Risk Services customers and provide ongoing fraud model recommendations.
  • Customer Engagement & Collaboration
    • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and regularly communicating team performance and risk opportunities.
    • Distill feedback from fraud analyst teams to inform updates and improvements to fraud risk models.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement
    • Lead fraud training sessions for new hires, existing team members, and cross-departmental visitors to ensure knowledge consistency.
    • Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and adapt team strategies to address evolving risks.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with the Interceptas system
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to evolving fraud trends
  • Expertise in payment processing environments, including:
    • Chargeback rules and regulations
    • Authorization, settlement, and interchange
    • Pricing/billing structures
    • Fraud mitigation strategies (domestic & global)

  • This role is located on-site at our Accertify Mexico City, Mexico office location:  Periférico Blvrd Manuel Ávila Camacho 261, Polanco, Polanco I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11510 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México
  • Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including non-business hours, weekends, and holidays is required.
