The Product Manager will be responsible for product management of Accertify’s Device, User Behavior Analytics (UBA), and Authentication capabilities. They will have strong technical aptitude and understand technologies required for device fingerprinting – like JavaScript and mobile SDKs.  They will be able to stay on the forefront of browser and operating system changes for both web and mobile devices and able to research and advise on new technology changes in order to keep our device solutions as accurate as possible. They will research, develop, coordinate, and implement product strategy and align this strategy with marketing efforts, and ensure all operating teams are instructed on new product offerings and go-to-market strategies.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a long-term product strategy/roadmap for Device, UBA and Authentication
  • Collaborate with technical development teams to plan future releases and finalize feature requirements
  • Write technical requirements/specifications and manage the team’s backlog
  • Actively participate in team SCRUM ceremonies
  • Present to clients on new products and the future roadmap
  • Conduct research and competitive intelligence to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
  • Train internal teams on product features and functionality
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, documentation, legal and partnership teams to develop sound go to market strategies
  • Track and adjust product based on browser, operating system, and mobile platform (Apple, Google, Microsoft) policy changes and version upgrades, as well as regulatory and privacy considerations
  • Working knowledge of how data collection fits into our risking products and collaborate on shared projects for reporting and event decisioning
  • Research areas for new potential revenue streams
  • Gain a solid comprehension of internal systems architecture
  • Ensure proper internal and external product documentation
  • Track key product metrics and use for project justification
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of product management experience in a technology heavy role
  • A very technical background and skillset with the ability to understand systems integrations, APIs, and data collection
  • Ability to write API specifications and request/response examples using JSON
  • Ability to create data flow diagrams for complex system interactions (swim lanes, process flow, sequence diagrams)
  • Solid entrepreneurial mindset and ability to set tasks and goals and independently meet them
  • Understanding of databases and datasets with the ability to ideate and prioritize what data needs to be available in order to accomplish our KPIs
  • Ability to generate product strategy and direction via competitive landscape, market research, customer interviews, etc…
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build collaborative, trusting cross-functional relationships
  • Travel less than 10%


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript capabilities and browser technology especially related to collection capabilities
  • Exposure to fraud detection for eCommerce and payments industry
  • Exposure to device fingerprinting technology
  • Past experience with passkeys and other authentication methods (eg. Magic Link)
  • Past experience with CIAM/IAM systems
  • Prior experience as a front end software developer
  • Ability to write Splunk queries

Additional Details: 
  • Location: 2 Pierce Place, Suite 900, Itasca, IL 60143
  • Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)
  • Travel: little to none
  • Potential base salary range: $100,000-130,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
  • Visa Sponsorship: employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
