We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Senior Accountant to elevate our finance and accounting operations. Reporting to the Head of Global Tax & Treasury, this pivotal role goes beyond day-to-day transaction processing, placing you at the forefront of supporting financial reporting and keeping timely and accurate records. The Senior Accountant also serves as the primary contact for indirect tax compliance and reporting, travel and expense management, and audit requests. This position will continuously seek to streamline processes and improve the distribution and accessibility of financial information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and prepare indirect tax filings for the US and six foreign subsidiaries, including monthly sales/use tax and VAT returns.
  • Coordinate with global accounting teams to provide monthly financial data from NetSuite for various statutory reporting obligations.
  • Assist the Tax Director with corporate governance matters such as annual reporting and responding to governmental notices as needed.
  • Administer the company’s virtual credit card program, including issuance of temporary credit cards to stakeholders and addressing purchasing/user troubleshooting inquiries.
  • Managing the company’s T&E operations, including expense categorization, employee reimbursements, and corporate discount programs.
  • Performing timely and comprehensive month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that accounting schedules and financial statements are updated and without error.
  • Assist in managing revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 within a complex SaaS subscription and professional services environment.
  • Performing fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet organizational requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • 5+ years of financial management and accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) with expertise in Excel required.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP standards and regulations).
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience with financial software (e.g., NetSuite, ZoneBilling, Workday Adaptive).
  • Superior data management and data analysis skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, proactive, and is a self-starter.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g., collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team) with the ability to create easy-to-understand executive summaries.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to excellence.

  • Salary Range: $70-85K, plus an incentive-based bonus.
